Year of the Fall is a synthwave/retrowave band inspired by the music and movies of the 1980s. The duo features German musician Philipp Kappestein and American songwriter Dan Vaccaro. Their debut album, Fragile Machine, blends the airy pop culture sound of their formative years with a hint of melancholy for the imminent loss of our collective humanity.
